Nice food and very friendly staff. Ambience feels outdated - I feel I’m back in 2000s era. They don’t play any background music so it felt too quiet to my liking.

Old establishment in outskirts of Kota Bahru town. Quite famous and usually packed during lunch. Advised to make reservations ahead. Food was tasty and good quantity. Deco was dated and gives a homely feel.

Tasty food at a reasonable price, we had lemon chicken, sizzling tofu, eggplant with sambal, stir fry kailan with salted fish, steamed fish in nyonya sauce, and squid in banana leaf and red tomyum soup. All food tasted delicious, although the tomyum soup was rather spicy. Go for the white variety if you are not into very spicy food. I was blown away by the brinjal, love the sambal sauce blended with what I suspect is dried shrimps, really tasty. Furthermore, we got a free bowl of oxtail soup which was very flavorful.
